What makes this skin scan so special?
At Calma Clinic we work with the latest high-tech skin analysis device, namely the Meitu. It can detect as many as 10 major skin conditions and 17 underlying skin problems. This device does more than just take pictures. The Meitu skin scanner first of all uses 3 cameras, most skin scanners only use 1 camera. These cameras form a 3D panoramic image of the skin for an accurate assessment.
What does the skin scan show?

The spectrums that our skin scan uses
Our skin scan uses 5 spectrums that detect underlying skin problems.
- Daylight : observes the outer skin layers, fine lines, phototype and skin tone
- True UV : controls blockages, acne bacteria and the risk of acne outbreaks
- Cross polarized light : checks for dilated blood vessels (rosacea) that are not visible to the eye
- Parallel polarized light : shows the skin texture, pore size and the appearance of the first fine lines and wrinkles
- Wood light : captures a high contrast image and controls the depth and characteristics of discolorations
Preparation:
To be able to make the best skin scan, we would like to ask you to cleanse your skin at least 2 hours in advance, 2x in a row with a milk or another cleanser without acids. Remove it well several times with water. Do not apply anything else to the skin.
